When you startup Mac OS X Mail for the first time the first thing you should see is a dialog box labeled New Account. If this is not your first time loading Mac OS X Mail then on the menu select File and Add Account. Change the Account Type to IMAP. Under Full Name type your first and last name the way you would like it to be displayed to others. Then enter you email address. Be sure to have the correct spelling. Most YCS clients have their own domain name. If you have your own website or domain name just use your username @ and your domain name. (Username@domain.com) If you do not have your own domain or website then you are using the YCS mail domain which is YCTP.com.(Username@yctp.com) Again be sure you have the correct spelling.
Now press the Continue button. You will then see a dialog box asking for information about the incoming mail server. Enter your incoming mail server and under user name enter your full email adress. On the third line enter your password. It will not display on the screen but instead with display dots.
Now press the Continue button. You will then see a dialog box asking for information about the outgoing mail server. Enter your outgoing mail server on the first line. Then be sure to click on the box labeled Use Authentication. Now enter your full email address under User name. On the third line enter your password. It will not display on the screen but instead with display dots.
Now press the Continue button. You will then see a dialog box displaying an account summary. Go ahead and press the Continue button.
Now you should see a dialog box alerting you that an account has been created. If you wanted to add another account you can press the Create Another Account button. But for now press the Done button.
Now you are DONE!! You are ok to go ahead and use your email. If you have more accounts to setup just go to FILE and ADD ACCOUNT to add more.
