Suggested Software

This is a list of software used by some of our staff on our personal systems. This is not to say they are the only software that can be installed. We do not even guarantee that this is the best software for your situation. We are saying, however, that many of our computers run this software and that our technicians have tested it extensively, finding that it runs smoothly for the computers and purposes for which it was designed. If you have any questions about the software suggested, feel free to ask your YCS technician. We want your complete satisfaction which will only come from understanding the product and its capabilities.

AVG Anti-Virus Software

One of the largest problems facing PCs today is viruses. In fact according to Grisoft, the makers of AVG, virus infection will remain the primary threat for all networks and computers. Since computers are becoming such a large part of mainstream society and affect every aspect of our lives. We need software that will prevent attacks against the tools that we use everyday. AVG Anti-Virus Professional Edition does just that. It is easy to use. You just install it and forget it. One can buy a license for one or two years. During that time you receive any new program versions or updates. This software has been quality proven by all major antivirus certifications. The company even offers 24/7 technical support at no cost to the customer. Updates occur often and are fast to download and install. If you are not sure if you want to use this software install the free edition to try it out. Please be sure you only use the FREE edition for home use only. Diskeeper 2007 Defragmenter
