More than 10 years ago a kid-at-heart stepped away from the normal life of a routine job and took a risk to start his own business. Your Computer Solutions Inc. has since serviced Central Florida for more than eight years. The company's first business cards were manually stamped on rolodex cards. Later, the world logo was added. The president of the company aimed to go worldwide. Time passed. Dreams and experience brought together a capable team of computer and design experts. Thus was born the current world logo, representative of quality, not only of computer systems, but of our knowledgeable and caring staff. YCS was founded on the idea that everyone should enjoy having a computer. President Joseph Boy knows that excellent computer knowledge is not as important as a caring staff that listens and wants to help clients achieve their goals. As necessary to the growth and development of any thriving business, YCS has added well-trained staff and departments to specifically address the changing needs of clients. From the onset of a young kid willing to ride his bike door-to-door dreaming of founding his own business, to the development of an organization that has served Central Florida for over 10 years, YCS has benefitted from the trusted patronage that has built the company to what it is today. Below are some of the people who are still working with the company and providing computer solutions every day.

Joseph M. Boy

Joseph M. Boy is the founder and president of Your Computer Solutions Inc. He got his start with computers in the sixth grade. After doing poorly in math, his teacher decided a new approach was needed by placing a kid’s computer game in front of him. Joseph asked to learn how to create games rather than play them. Mrs. Ritz encouraged him to learn, arranging for him to have blocks of time alone with the school computers. Joseph’s grades increased dramatically. He knew he found what he wanted to do with his life. Going door-to-door on his bicycle, Joseph tried to pick up spare computer jobs to develop his skills. After a dose of reality (try, try, and try again) he had to get a "normal" job to earn income. Relentless in the pursuit of his dream to learn and study computers, he landed jobs in the retail and hotel industries. His skills grew as did his dream. One day he decided to take a risk and start what is now YCS. Joseph has been working in the computer industry now for more than 20 years. His dream of starting a successful computer firm has evolved into one recognized for excellence in service for its clients. Gaining business experience serving as a board member for the Kiwanis Club, he decided that the best way to help the youth of the community was to teach them the skills to of tomorrow. As a volunteer for many non-profit organizations, Joseph has gained the trust, friendship and support which has contributed to his success. Believing you are never too old to have fun and play games, Joseph helped begin a non-profit organization which teaches young people the skills of computers through the use of computer games and entertainment. He continues his mentoring, intending to see some of those young people develop into the people who will take YCS into the future.

Matt Thomas

A student at the University of Central Florida, Matt has worked with Your Computer Solutions for numerous years. More than six years of computer experience atop his years of formal training have enabled Matt to become an excellent example of what a good technician should be. He listens to the client's expectations and needs, and then uses his volume of experience to bring the desired conclusion. What really sets him apart from the typical technician is that really cares. He cares about the client's needs and to get the job done. His attitude can be summed up by "minimal downtime, maximum value for the client." Matt's valued assistance, enhanced by experience, has contributed towards improving the quality and speed in which YCS provides computer support. Upon his college graduation, Matt will put his fulltime efforts into satisfying the computer of YCS customers.

Anthony (Slim)

Careful. Exacting. Anthony is like an expensive watch: precise, reliable, and always aware of the moments ticking by. Anthony's wealth of more than 25 years of computer industry experience are daily embodied in the changes evolving at YCS. He has created more productive ways of configuring computer systems to run faster and more user-friendly. An avid gamer, he enjoys ensuring your computer is prepared for the fast-paced world of computer entertainment. His technical artistry signifies him as an expert in network security, data recovery, and remote technology. Anthony also assists in teaching some of the young people from the SolgamesUSA Foundation. Time and again, he has proven his value to the YCS team.

Pierre Laguerre

Pierre is one of the first young people to graduate from the SolgamesUSA Foundation program. Five years ago he was just a student with an interest in computers. Today, he is now the youngest staff member of Your Computer Solutions Inc. With consummate concentration, he researches all cutting-edge technologies that will enable him to become a master of web development. A self-motivated leader who believes in paying forward the attention and education he gleaned from Solgames, Pierre sees part of his reward to teach others who now walk where he once tread. He is the epitome of what the program is about and what can be developed. Pierre proves himself daily to be a topnotch professional. His skills in networking are amazing, his ability to work with a variety of clients shows his growth and development, and he has great attitude. Continually striving to improve himself, his goal is to pass on to other students the volume of knowledge and leadership he himself once learned at Solgames.
